This is me.

Hi, i'm Nathan.

I'm a budding developer from Nottingham, UK. I currently work as a web designer. You can download a copy of my CV here.

I love drawing, writing, composing and coding. Oh, and I can speak (admittedly basic) Japanese.

I'm actively involved in game development in my spare time, and am looking for industry placements within the gaming or design industry.

I currently work as a fulltime web developer.

I'm employed by a large company doing back-end development in ASP and ASP.NET, and producing high quality white-labels for clients using HTML, CSS and javascript to match their specifications.

I'm also skilled in PHP, MySQL, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, C# and cool HTML5 standards (even if i can't use them yet, damn you internet explorer!!)

I love music. Like, a whole lot.

I can play guitar, bass, drums, and to a limited extent piano. I used to be able to play the violin, but that sucked so I gave it up.

Check out a few of my most recent projects below (please don't take them all too seriously).

MC BLIZZARD

The prince of UK Grime, check out this revolutionary new talent on his myspace page.

Escaping Skies

My most successful(ish) band, marking my switch from bass to guitar. Check out our 2 EPs here.

Doomed Youth

My first band when I was 15; I recently re-recorded the whole EP, doing all instruments myself. Check it out.

SM / PS

A classic rock project I dabbled in a few years ago; all instruments and mixing done by myself.

I love drawing vectors, and crazy fantasy stuff.

Making animations is fun. So is using AfterEffects.

Sketch Project

This is a film I made as part of a uni project. I shot the real-life elements with my friend, then used chroma-keying and After-Effects to create the special effects. It also includes vector animation I drew in Flash.

Exia Project

This was another uni project; it was the first time i'd ever used 3ds max to make an animation.

Web design by Nathan Edwards.   Obviously.
